Mei Zhang

Senior Graphic Designer

Mei was born and raised in Bejing. She previously lived in Milan for two years andrecently lives in Shanghai. She mainly works as a designer, but sometimes she stilldreams to be an artist.

Mei used Adobe Photoshop for the first time in junior high, which became the ultimatelyprompted her to pursue careers in graphic design She received her bachelors degree ingraphic design from Beihang University. With her interest and curiosity in differentcultures, she took an Italian course and passed the B2 level language test to go to Milanto continue studying. She received her masters degree in communication design fromNuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano (NABA). With her diverse educationalbackgrounds, she can communicate in Chinese, English and Italian.

She previously worked as a UI/UX designer and a graphic designer in Bejing, whichallowed her to gain extensive design experience. Now in Shanghai, she brings herexperience and curiosity to MDS to meet and challenge new things.

Mei has always loved drawing and she always tells herself to continue drawing. She'spassion about sharing her cute style of art with a wider audience, so has been constantlypublishing her illustrations on social media platforms at the end of every month. She hasalso made and published her own WeChat stickers!
