Overview

The Malaysian Government has been quietly promoting its overseas medical services to Chinese tourists. Our challenge was to navigate the murky waters of overseas medical tourism and both tailor and execute a China digital market entry strategy for a government healthcare entity in Malaysia without a Mainalnd Chinese presence. We  successfully built  the first dedicated digital IVF community in China  and exceeding campaign KPIs in a highly regulated and closed  industry.

Scope & Deliverables

  • China digital market entry consulting, campaign ideation, and execution

  • Influencer sourcing, negotiation, and partnership development

  • Website design & development, graphic design, and campaign assets

  • WeChat Mini Program design and development

  • Launching and maintenance of the first dedicated digital IVF communities

Results

  • Improved average engagement by over 1000% throughout the campaign period

  • Successfully navigated industry restrictions and complex organizational structures

  • Exceeded all campaign targets and KPIs by at least 10%

  • Selected out of 8 agencies for a successful second-year contract renewal
